Wenchi Shou

Wenchi Shou PhD is a Senior Lecturer in Construction Economics at the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment at Western Sydney University (WSU). She is a highly accomplished academic and researcher in construction management, with a strong track record in teaching excellence, industry engagement, and research innovation. She currently takes the role of Academic Program Advisor in shaping the learning experiences of over 2,000 undergraduate students enrolled in one of Australia's largest Construction Management programs. 

Dr. Shou is recognised for her exceptional teaching practices, earning WSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Education) Award of Citations for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning 2024. Her research focuses on developing lean-driven frameworks to decarbonise prefabrication projects. She is actively involved in industry-led research collaborations, co-chairing the Decarbonising the Building Industry (DBI) Network workshop and contributing to knowledge-sharing platforms across academia and industry.
