
Peng Wu
Professor Peng Wu is currently a Professor at the School of Design and the Built Environment, Curtin University, making a significant contribution to digital engineering and AI in construction, leading delivery of industry-led projects in collaboration with >60 industry partners. His research focusses on digital twin and advanced data analytics, with the aim of developing new insights and tools to benefit the environmental and economic sustainability of the construction industry. He has accumulated >11,200 citations (>1,700 per year since 2021) for an h-index of 55 and i10-index of 118 (Google Scholar). He is the top-cited Australian author (#5 worldwide) in Architectural Design; Geographic Information; Interoperability (SciVal). Since 2015, he has been CI on >$5M in research funding (>$3M from industry; >$2M from ARC and WA and Qld State Governments) on topics related to building information modelling, digital engineering, and AI in production and construction.
