Human Robot Teaming

Human robot teaming is about people and robots working side-by-side as true partners, combining human judgment, creativity, and adaptability with robotic precision, strength, and consistency.

Human Centric Robotics

Rather than replacing people, these teams are designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in workplaces, homes, and communities. From construction sites to hospitals to research labs, human–robot teaming is shaping a future where collaboration with intelligent machines supports better outcomes for everyone.

Sociotechnical Systems

Sociotechnical systems describe the way people and technology work together within an organisation. The idea is that effective systems depend on balancing the human and technical elements so that each supports the other. It recognises that the social aspects, such as communication, culture, and teamwork, are just as important as the technical tools, processes, and structures in place. When one side changes, the other is affected, shaping performance, safety, and satisfaction. The concept began with studies of workplaces in the mid-twentieth century and remains central today in fields like robotics, automation, and digital transformation, where success relies on integrating human values with technological capability.
